TD Wins Double at German Design Awards 2025

TD has secured two prestigious Winner Awards at the German Design Awards 2025. This recognition was awarded for the rebranding of Nationale Opera & Ballet and the renewed brand identity project for AFS, a prominent player in the financial sector. Both projects highlight TD’s ability to transform brands into future-proof, visually distinctive identities.

Nationale Opera & Ballet: A Digital-First approach with a clear vision

The rebranding brought together a fragmented brand into a powerful and inviting identity that accommodates the diversity of artistic disciplines. At its core is the brand promise “Part of something greater than yourself,” reflected in the design through upward movements and sleek clarity. With a digital-first approach, TD created a flexible and adaptive grid that ensures consistency across all channels. The jury praised the identity as “clear and open,” calling it an impressive translation of the brand promise.

AFS: A dynamic brand focused on Connection and Sustainability

For AFS, TD developed a new positioning centered on connecting capital with opportunities. The refreshed logo, which plays with “flows” and connecting points, reinforces the organization’s dynamism. The vibrant blue as the primary color, paired with a subdued color palette, creates a distinctive visual identity. Photography and nature imagery, with a focus on renewable energy, further enhance this new style. The jury praised the identity as “a self-sustaining energy” that sets AFS apart in the market and strengthens the brand’s sustainable ambitions.

A dual recognition for versatility and vision

These two awards confirm TD’s strength in designing integrated and forward-thinking brand identities for a wide range of sectors, from culture to finance. Both projects not only reflect the core values of the organizations but also support their strategic ambitions for the future.
